The clock was ticking softly.He was sitting in his chair ,reading a book ,when he heard a strange noise.
`Who is it?` he asked.
`It`s me ` ,replied a voice.
He went to the front door and opened it quickly ,but there was no one there.He walked back into the sitting room ,then stopped and listened.
Someone was moving around in the kitchen ,he opened the door ,but the kitchen was empty.
`Who is there?` he asked again.
`It`s me` ,replied the voice again ,don`t you remember me ,I am you.
