Interspire Shopping Cart (Beta)
Interspire Shopping Cart (formerly StoreSuite NX) is shopping cart software designed for small and medium businesses looking to sell anything online. It's easy-to-use, easy to customize and has more features than any other commercially available shopping cart software. Interspire Shopping Cart is currently in beta testing with an anticipated release in March 2008.
Server Requirements
Interspire Shopping Cart has no confusing requirements or dependancies. It runs on most standard PHP web servers. The requirements are listed below, and from our research and constant feedback from customers, most PHP web servers meet these requirements:
* Any Linux/UNIX variant or Windows
* Apache 1.3 or above or IIS 5.0 or above
* PHP 5.0 or above
* MySQL 4.1 or above
* PHP's cURL extension or allow_url_fopen enabled for real-time shipping quotes, etc
* PHP's GD image library for creating image thumbnails
* Optional: Apache's mod_rewrite module for SEO friendly links
Common Questions
* Does Interspire Shopping Cart come with SendStudio and Interspire Knowledge Manager included? The ultimate edition does, yes. The other editions don't but you can buy and integrate SendStudio or Interspire Knowledge Manager separately at any time.
* Can I upgrade later if I buy the starter, digital or professional edition now? What will the upgrade prices be? Yes. You can upgrade from and to any edition. The upgrade price is the price difference between the versions, plus 20%. This is based on industry-standard software pricing. For example, if you buy the professional edition now, you can upgrade to the ultimate edition at any time by working out the difference in the two prices and adding 20% of that difference. Simply send an email from the client area requesting an upgrade.
* How does the template system work? All templates are based on simple HTML and CSS. They contain no PHP code and it's easy to integrate Interspire Shopping Cart into your existing store if you're familiar with HTML. We'll also be offering template customization services in the very near future.
* Can I import from my existing store? Yes. You can import from OSCommerce, X-Cart or CubeCart using the 1-click import wizard, or you can import from a CSV file. You can also import product images and categories in a variety of different ways.
* How flexible is the code? Can I add my own payment/shipping/other modules? Yes. Interspire Shopping Cart is built on a modular framework and it's extremely easy to add your own modules. Full documentation will be available shortly.
* Is Interspire Shopping Cart just a simple store platform? No. As well as selling products, Interspire Shopping Cart includes CMS functionality so you can publish pages, news, FAQ's, etc in your store. You can also integrate our email marketing software, SendStudio, directly into your store to send automated follow up emails to customers based on the products they ordered, as well as to send your newsletter. Interspire Knowledge Manager, our FAQ and knowledge base software also integrates directly into your store, and Interspire Knowledge Manager's Active Response System can be tied into any contact form in your store.
* Do you offer discounted extra site licenses? Yes. We are in the process of rolling out our worldwide reseller program, which entitles qualified resellers a 40% discount on all editions of Interspire Shopping Cart. If you're interested in becoming a reseller, please contact us.
* Can I private label Interspire Shopping Cart? After you purchase you have the option to purchase the ability to remove the powered by link on the front of your store. This costs $195 and you can request it simply by sending a ticket through our client area.
* When is the official release? We're aiming for early March, however it may be sooner or slightly later than that.
